I unwillingly got out of bed Monday morning and got ready. I put on some jeans and a black tee shirt that said “Underoath”. I walked downstairs and grabbed a granola bar and walked out the door. Tyson was waiting in his car in my driveway. I walked out and hopped in the back seat

 

“You left sort of abruptly yesterday” he said with a worried look

 

“I know but you were all busy” I said

 

“No” they all replied in unison

 

“Whatever you say… all I saw was you three drooling over your prom dates” I said

 

Kyle seemed quiet.

 

Tyson looked at me from the rear view mirror.

 

"I'm fine, really." I laughed. "I was asked to prom too you know" I said slyly

“Who’s taking you?” Tyson asked

 

“Oh just this guy Alec, he asked me on Saturday.” I replied

 

“Alec?” Matt said

 

“Yeah that new guy” Kyle spoke finally

 

The boys were quiet.

 

We arrived at the school and I went to my locker. I started pulling out my History book when hands went over my eyes. I opened my eyes to see long white hands. I turned around and saw Alec standing there grinning at me.

 

“Morning” he said

 

“Hey!” I said and he gave me a hug.

 

He looked at Tyson Matt and Kyle and had a strange look in his eyes for a moment then his eyes returned to mine.

 

“I cant chat now but we will talk in math?” he said

 

“Yup!” I said and he walked away

 

“I’m guessing that’s Alec? ” Tyson said sounding a bit tense

 

“Oh um, yeah" I said

 

“How do you know him anyways?” Matt said

 

“Math class. He just transferred in. why? ” I said

 

“ How well do you know him…” Tyson said

 

“Not very…we hung out last Saturday but that’s about it. Again I ask why?” I said

 

“I don’t like him. Something’s off.” Kyle said

 

“Excuse me?” I said surprised

 

Kyle stared at me

 

“Well I’m sorry.” I said sarcastically

 

“Sorry what? Your just gonna ignore the way I feel about this?” he said

 

“That’s my cue to leave” Matt walked off towards his class. I could tell he was uncomfortable.

 

“Yes.” I said curtly

 

He was silent

 

“Last time I checked you didn’t give a damn about my feelings so I don’t find it necessary to extend the same courtesy” I said

 

Kyle was shocked at my remark

 

“Lex, c’mon lets go to class” Tyson gently grabbed my arm.

 

I pulled away from him. 

“No” I said

 

“Give me proof that I don’t care” he said, we were almost yelling now. A few kids stopped to stare at us. Tyson gently pulled on my arm again

 

“Lex, lets go” Tyson said softly in my ear. I knew he was trying his hardest to be gentle, he could tear my whole arm off if he wanted to.

 

I ignored him again. 

“Okay ill give you proof! She’s walking toward us as we speak” 

He looked over his shoulder to see Ally coming over. I shook my head and spun around into my classroom.

So sad. I don't know who I want Lexie to end up with yet. I like all three boys. And I agree with the others. I'm not sure how much I trust Alec. I mean, the glare he gave the other guys, it just seems like something really is off.....hmmm....must find out!!!!
