The next morning I woke up and got dressed. Today was the big dress shopping day. I grabbed my bag and shoved a strapless bra into it just in case. The doorbell rang and Alec stood there smiling when I opened the door.

 

“Hey” I said smiling

 

“Hey” he said

 

we got in his car and drove to the mall. I saw our group standing by the entrance. Jen was practically mauling Tyson by hanging on his arm, Ally was holding hands with Kyle letting go every few seconds and Matt had his arm around Emma. Jen glared at me as I walked up.

 

“Hey guys” I said

 

“Hey Lex” Tyson said and hugged me

 

“Hey Tyson” I smiled and turned to Matt as Alec was shaking hands with Tyson

 

“Hey monster” Matt said and pulled me into a hug.

 

I laughed. “Hey Matt , Hey Emma” I said smiling at her

 

“Hey” She smiled sweetly.

 

After our hello’s we all walked in. The girls headed for Macy’s and the boys headed to Mens Wearhouse.

 

Jen gave Tyson a long hug like she wouldn’t see him for years before we went in. Alec kissed my cheek before we left and I blushed.

 

We started looking at dresses, I tried to put as much distance between me Jen and Ally as I could. Emma could sense I didn’t like them and she stuck with me.

 

“I think you would look great in this” Emma held up a deep blue dress that had a princess bottom.

 

I smiled

 

“Really?” I said

 

“Uh huh” she handed it to me “Just try it on”

 

We kept looking and soon we were all in the dressing rooms.

 

I came out in the blue dress Emma suggested and loved it, the corset top showed off my hourglass figure. Jen came out in a long flowy black gown that had a plunging neck line and almost no back, Emma wore a pink short ruffled dress and Ally had on a purple gown where the bottom looked like a tutu. We gave compliments all around and decided on our dresses.

 

After we changed we purchased our dresses and met up with the boys in the food court.

 

“get anything good?” Alec said sliding his hand around my waist. I could see Kyle glaring.

 

“yes, your tie needs to be blue” I said

 

“Okay, I’ll call the guy and let him know” Alec said smiling

 

“My dress is purple honey!” Ally squealed

 

Kyle didn’t respond

 

“Babe?” Ally said waving her hand in front of his face

 

“Oh purple. Yeah. Cool” Kyle said unenthused.

 

“What about you Jen” Tyson asked

 

“I went with the more classy color of black” she said

 

“Oh cool” Tyson said

 

“You Emma?” Matt said

 

“Pink” she said

 

Matts face sunk a little

 

“Pink? Why pink?” He whined

 

“Yes, you’re wearing a pink tie honey” Emma laughed

 

“Oh god” Matt said

 

We ate some lunch and walked out to our cars. I waved bye to the boys and hopped into the car with Alec.

 

“Thanks for coming” I said

 

He laughed

 

“Thanks for not wearing pink” He said.

 

We laughed and held hands on the ride home.

ha. ha. Blue is such a classic color. Looks great on just about everyone! I'm excited for their prom. I have a feeling some good things are going to happen, and by good, I mean really really really interesting. Can't wait!!!!!!
