The only thing I really fear is nature... you can't come back when that crazy b***h says it's over. Ever, for any reason. Everything else is just s**t we do to pass the time. I find it amusing how some people will go to great lengths to silence the silly f*****g hobby of some random dude vomiting words on rarely traveled website. I wish they knew that there bullshit only makes me try harder... mostly because I really don't like to try that hard (this is f*****g hobby god damn it). Half of my anger towards people of that ilk stems from that, my annoyance at an intellectual inconvenience.

I don't necessarily fear nature. I spend a lot of my free time challenging her. It's the consequences...they are irreversible as we know it. To be more precise... "i'm not afraid of heights, I'm afraid of falling" or "it's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end". You should climb Denali with me the next time; in about three years or so. The climbing's actually pretty easy... but, there's other stuff that certainly isn't.

Elevation just over 6000 is doable for sure - only half succeed it making it to the top. Better odds than Everest. Three years you say? Easy climb? What’s the hard part then?

The cold and the distance are both extreme, and of course... it ain't cheap. It's really the only "extreme" peak non- regular pro's can feel comfortable achieving. Ever since I was about 12 I always wanted to see what Annapurna was like... as an adult though, there is no f*****g way I could attempt that and survive (also that one's around 75K to do, there's only a handful of guides in the world capable of dealing with that mountain). Annapurna has still never been summited during her winter months... no one even tries anymore.

"Relic". I've known him for years here. Took me a while to figure out what he was really about. He meets the standard for every thing you just mentioned. A good friend of John "creepy elitist perv" Mcfayden, Wordman (stolen valor), and Anto (Tony Jordan). When their front stage persona is compared with the s**t they say privately it becomes disturbingly clear -- they are truly manipulative sociopaths. I may be horrible person but at least I am very, very transparent about that.
