Drunken blind and stupid

Drinking fancy whisky, still 

Tasting  mostly nothing, now

I have become that idiot

Who may not be stupid

But still,

Remains a f****n’ idiot

An imbecile  

Imbibing for sport

Coming too much

Out of boredom

Wasting goodness

Numbing everything

Ignoring temperance

Like any real nihilist

I was born to do this

I was born to die like this

Wasted, but never drunk

Thanks pretty lady. Rancid is one of the greatest of the all the great punk rock bands. That kind of music has become extinct I'm afraid.
