Unequal Infinities

Unequal Infinities

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"
in between unknown infinities
towards an end of a middle
very far from the start of you
so much closer to the beginning
of yet another end to you
lies this crisis just waiting. . . to begin
in you again. . . a transition of identity
and of self confidence, in you again
into a new life, into a new man, in a new way
that you never thought you ever could begin
again

in between unknown infinities

where every end is a beginning

and every beginning is an end

where I was and where I will be

in that dark-light ceaseless continuum

as I was, as I am and will be

and from where I keep slipping

into a myriad of wispy, diffuse realities

like slipping on a fragile weightless garb

till its time to slip into another one

Yet that me is me, never new

never changed, absolute, perfect

ever, ever me

Something (official) is troubling me and I'll be not here much till it resolved.

This poem has inspired me no end. It tells me you too dwell in those places where I dwell frequently. Kudos!

I love the title, and also the wordplay. Yes, there sure is light at the end of the tunnel. If only we didn't accept the dark tunnel as our new dwelling, if only we weren't afraid to walk towards that ray of hope.
Wonderful work.

True, true.
You are welcome.
I have known some against all odds, who have begun again. Who have shaken off their demons and addictions and found themselves a new life. With great courage and fortitude they left their past behind and opened the door to a future they thought they would never have. Yes there can be new beginnings.
