Yes, I know... I'm a sad and pathetic little hypocrite of human. But that doesn't always mean I'm wrong, it just means I can usually be a morally confused and hypocritical f****n' idiot.

when every man is for himself
every problem is more a difficulty

when it's solidarity that compels us
every problem is an opportunity

when the truth is what defines us
every problem becomes a doorbell

when it's lies that do incline us
everyone turns into a bombshell

when we treat the other like our family
everyone will grow more frequently

when we seek to denigrate the others
everyone improves infrequently

 

when every man is for himself
we remain slaves to selfish things . . .  and usually not so peacefully

This is interesting, it did get me thinking and spurred opinions, so that's great. Every poem should move someone somehow - and this does. Therefore (thumbs up) here! Although I do feel as though you could have elevated your vocabulary a bit for this one, it would have made the feel a bit more... powerful.

I like! A bit untraditional, but that is never a bad thing! You might want to fine-tune your word usage, but otherwise awesome!

Thanks alexa. I can't not agree with the word usage suggestion. I've been kinda lazy lately. I think I'm getting progressively worse at writing in general.
