when everyone's looking
some thing's becomes elusive

obscured and cleverly hidden

they mask themselves 

when persecution is popular
some thing's become reductive

sensational and mob justice orientated 

they debase themselves 

to undermine a movement

into justice delayed,

into progress retarded, 

into everything counterproductive 

to seem righteous, 

to seem relevant, 

to appear, real f****n' virtuous
