That dark, destructive side and the effort it takes to control it, to keep it contained, but at what expense? It sounds as though it eats you, it eats the good of you as it stores inside your being. Your words left me feeling thankful, very thankful that I don't struggle with such an enemy. By the way, thank you for those words you left me recently on why you don't review my work more often. I appreciated your thoughts very much.

I think everyone hides something about themselves, it's how we go about hiding it that can get us in trouble. That's why I think treating depression, ptsd and general anxiety primarily with drugs (legal or illegal) doesn't actually fix anything. It's just masking the problem.

And I'm sorry about not reviewing you more. I do read a lot of what you write, but, I tend to attract the wrong kind of attention and that's not fair to you.

I agree about the use of drugs in cases of depression and ptsd masking the problem. Counselling appears to work much better, but then that's much more expensive and requires trained professionals. The tablets are a cheap option. Don't concern yourself over leaving responses, if you read any of mine I am more than happy.
