Time In Emotion

the stuff that we see
is not all that is there

we make up stories to feel better
about which we do not understand

we fill the gaps in between
with what is hoped to be there

the stuff that we see

is not always real

as matter has gravity
so gravity bends space

so space is just time

as time shows us space

all ideas can have weight
and on us all
that weight can weigh heavy

as time obeys space
so space obeys time

as thought makes ideas

so ideas make the mind

distorting the real
to show us a picture
so far from the real

we will see what we want
and not what we can

we will see what we want
very far from who we are
always too close to what we hope

always too far from what we are

nothing is real

that is all that is real

Reality is only as real as the moment we experience it. Looking back offers a different interpretation, even when we claim to recall it exactly as it was. In doing so, we have corrupted the moment. Everything changes and nothing stays the same. Trying to apply this to every moment creates a constant loop of what if or what was. Nicely done
