Gemma's Dance

Flashing stars to light the night
in which we play together
running round the trees like giants
chasing magic through the air
the shadows now are far behind us
safe where none will ever find us
we squeal and dash
through worlds unknown
to strange affairs on icy ground
and we spin round and round
until we all fall down
