Grow up

I'm a little guy

Who dreams big

But his height is not enough

I become so lost in my thoughts

There are heigths I want to reach

But I just can't since reality is different from my thoughts

Someday I'll have to grow up

And become, A new kind of human

Where people will see how much I care for them

Some of us have to grow up sometimes

And so, I'll have leave my love behind

I see a big tree by my house

How tall and strong it looks!

Maybe someday I will be like that tree

So strong and tall that I will reach my dreams

There are heights I want to reach

But I feel like I can't

But then I remember, nothing is impossible

So why not give a try?

Someday I'll have to grow up

And see how reality is

Someday I'll have to grow up

And watch again

How earth forms

Someday I'll grow up

And watch how the sun sends it's light

Maybe someday

I will be in a room

Full of thoughts in my mind

Maybe someday

I'll be the tall and strong tree

Maybe someday....

(We have dreams)

Maybe someday...

(The maine point is to not give up)

Maybe someday...

(Keep on dreaming on your heights)

But that maybe is close

I don't see but I feel it

Every step and heartbeat that I take

Takes me closer and one foot higher

To my dreams and height!

it's amazing ...... it is just what i had thought when i was 9 but now i think it is just a fantasy..... there is no way we can live for others...... don't mind it, if u feel bad :D but for the poem its really awesome

I think that nothing can hold you back from your dreams, you can always reach them. I think you will reach yours. :) And growing up doesn't mean you have to give up the kid part of yourself, the part that loves to have fun, loves others and loves to be loved. It just means you're moving onto a new phase where you mature more, and therefore are that much better. :) Great poem Lizardo!
