Ignite
You excite
You define
The breath in my lungs
That grants me life
I'm awake
I rattle
& shake-
From the forbidden love that you make me crave
Every day-
I long to taste
the freedom you give; the passion we make
You in complicate the hurt, the pain
You recognize in me
the rain;
Eradicate; you wash it away
You've changed in me
The very things
the darkest parts of me
You've made clean
My partner, my love, my bestest friend-
In every way you compliment
My every thought, my every move
Just being you, I couldn't choose
A life without a love like you.
