Forgotten

My eyes are running, and wet 

How it got this bad- I'd never get

My head hurt, my eyes sore

And I let my heart pour

I've never felt quite as bad

Then when I actually felt glad

She was gone from you

Lost from your world

No more obstacles,

Just you and I 

But you pushed me away- 

Fearful of the past

And I let it go

Prayed it wouldn't last. 

Now here I stand, mirror staring blatantly 

Eyes running like rivers, head shuddering in pain

Every breath a sob waiting to lurch. 

My hands shake now, as I kiss you a goodbye

And breathe no more.

It's the worst moment ev'r when you have to say goodbye to your lover/partner... with whom you ev'n spent the most happiest moments of life. Quite heartfelt but so thoughtfully written.
