The Sound of Terror

The Sound of Terror

A Poem by Joy

She stormed into the room,

Feet booming,

Voice bellowing.

She screamed at the girl,

The o so little girl.

The girl cowered in the corner,

Sobbing,

Screaming,

Yet no sound escaped her mouth.

She was but a whisper,

A side note,

Nothing.

The woman charged the girl,

Screaming with absolute rage,

Absolute insanity.

And the girl whispered through the tears,

The sobs,

The agony.

And then she shuttered.

Her body went limp.

Her tears ceased.

Her heart beat faded,

Until it was no more,

Until the girl was no more.

And the woman collapsed.

The woman broke,

And the woman was no more...

This reminds me of a poem I wrote back when I was still in high school (it's called The Dragon, if you get a chance, check it out on my page). I can definitely tell you have some hidden meanings in here. Keep writing!
