Spirit in the wind

A poem about learning and letting go

Each day, becoming my past

My awareness of knowledge

As I tune into

My courage to change

The negative constants

Of this journey; my life

Is nothing more or less

Then the beauty of sunshine

Each scent of flower I smell

As I walk the garden path

Brings me back to 

My natural state of being

It reminds me to let go

of my contempt and

hostility towards the world

It allows me to forgive

Each dewy tear brings release

As I  find comfort

In the perfect atmosphere

That mellows me to temperance

I know the road

That will take me home

The way to the skies

Is to follow the light

Each day is a glass of wine
of a fine divine design
from the core of pure sunshine,
