Ballad of a Lonely HeartA Poem by Morgan Storms
This is my spoken word.
Moral compass uprooted
to Love's false devotion
The seductive lips
Of a lover stolen
Love as a sweet winter rose
Lonely as the frosty wind blows
Passion-so intense it boils as the surface of the sun
With much over-due strife
Behind closed bars
Not worth to live
The divine yearning prose
The sweet kiss only the lover knows
It needs sensation or it cries
Or in a lonely, dark doorway it dies

AboutIts obvious that I like to write! I am a word nerd. I am a dictionary reading, poetry writing, novel idea loving, paranormal romantic of sorts. I wish that more people would read and write instead o.. more..
