A Child to A Teacher

A Child to A Teacher

A Poem by LL2

Unbearable pain

Unbearable fears
Unbarable silence
Unbarable tears
> >

No one to love her
No one to care
No one oto help her
She couldn't share
> >
The world seemed against her
She couldn't fight back
The smallest mistake
Earned her a smack
> >
As you walk by her desk,
Her math paper blank,
Your words were so harsh
Her heart just sank
> >
The bell rang to go
But she stayed in her seat
Why go to lunch
When she couldn't eat
> >
He told her he'd kill her
if she dared to come back
She prayed that you would,
but you cut her no slack.
> >
The story came out
With tears in her eyes
But her mother had said
She made up such lies
> >
She asked for your help
What else could she do?
The world seemed to hate her

So she hated it too.

Pretty depress ing but hey it's the fact of life at some times: the world if rough. You show the girl's life in many dimensions. I like how you add to her being upset it just adds water to the bucket creating sympathy and apathy for the girl. Have you been in a situation like this? It seems like you can relate. Nice write and it was a good read. Hope to read more when you publish more writings.
