Christian (poem 2)

Christian (poem 2)

A Poem by Mary

When did I question you?

Your mind,

Your heart,

Your smile,

Your enchanting eyes?

Was it when you kissed me for the first time?

Or should I say

When I was kissed for the first time.

Giving my trust

To only you.

Or when

I bared my body

And my mind to yours

Sharing my secrets

And creating a few.

Touch me

Please

It is cruel

To keep me in such suspense

Do you love me?

Or is it a clever ruse

The devil made

At my expense.

I could say I don’t care

Maybe it is true,

I do however know

That I do

Miss you.

My hazel eyed knight

Not black

Nor white

In this colorless world of

Gray.

I love you.
