What Are You

What Are You

A Poem by luvs2write

Elongated paths with no end
To be seen,
Evening and morning
Remain the same.
Neverending nothingness,
Insanity sets in.
Time is irrelevant;
Yearning, a sin.

Oh holy heart,
Beat for the last time.
Long was the life though
I had longer in mind.
Vainly I grasped;
I wanted control
Of a life full of dreams.
Now hidden in a land

Where present meets past.
Hours and minutes
Are no longer the same;
Time is a misconception.

Away from this thought!
Resist the temptation,
Ever so quick to doubt but

Your answer leaves the core
Of my soul
Unsatisfied.

Just some ramblings about something that's been bugging me...thought I'd attempt an acrostic XP

i feel a deep longing ... a difficult search .. perhaps a dip into madness ... i don't see the acrostic in this??? .. i like the play on time .. it is man made and relative for sure ... i see a sojourner who even when finding an answer ... is not able to be satisfied ... ain't it just like us humans to be so ;}

I really enjoy your writing, I read bouquet too and I don't know what it is about them but I just find them so refreshing and satisfying to read.
