A Poem by Indra's Child

Blinding neon victim of your indifference
With a psychotic mechanism of defense
Praying to invisible fuchsia gods is brief
Promising your flaws to turn over a new leaf

Pills to replace the venom,
Yet the snakebite will remain
Outlaw abandoning horse
Leaving no tracks by the train

Sixty tons of steam power
Psychedelic currents lead
Pushing desert, deadly force
Automatic currency

Stroke of genius canvassed on limited world view,
Intact pieces cement themselves in place with glue
Patterns unravel with nothing more than a tug
The fabric of your core, undoing what's been done
