They say anything is better than nothing...

Emptiness, darkness, pain...

Is this just a phase I'm in?

Maybe the best part its about to begin.

I can see the hope, but can I grasp it?

Emptiness, darkness, pain...

Its getting close, can I trust it?

Emptiness, darkness, pain...

I'm almost there, but the fear is rising.

F**k it, I'm gonna continue fighting!

I can't feel them anymore.

Fulfillment, happiness, humane...

Finally got up and opened the door.

I know its repetitive but I was trying to show how much depression can affect a persons life.

I like the repetition in this piece, almost represents how depression can consistently kick you down again and again. The ending is nice -- that little glimmer of hope!
