I Know Now

Love is a blessing, and curse.

I know that now.

But it took me forever to figure it out.

My heart laid broken, shattered in my hands.

My tears fell freely from my eyes.

And I wondered why I couldn't have been wise.

I fell for him, but he let me hit the ground.

And my mind was overloaded in pain.

I refused to sleep, despite my feign.

I never knew love was like this.

But now I know.

Isn't that the truth. Love can be harsh sometimes. The person who you love so much and would never hurt can also be the person to cause the most pain when you break up.

This was a wonderful poem and it was beautifully written.

I love this poem, i especially like how it doesnt rythm every line but it still feels like it does, mainly because it flows beautifully.
