A chance

Maybe a second time around in God’s plan

It was a bittersweet past;
but we can’t hide that it was true and just.

But I believe we were meant to be apart to complete the volatility of destiny’s art.

We both learned our lessons from our recent affairs thus makes us mature in any sense.

Till now we’ve had godsend reconciliation
So here we are with mutual conviction;

Since we’re not ready to dive in,
dive into a new idyl.
Yet somehow I just want to affirm something,
to pronounce this feeling;

We may not know the future’s plan
And one’s feelings may gone.
But know that I have kept your word
of seeing your future with me;
please know that,
that’s what I also see.
