The world is falling apart People have lost their homes Clean water has vanished Food, clothes, essentials all sparse " nowhere in sight I don’t know how to help So, I bought a T-shirt
The proceeds go to hurricane relief I made a difference What kind? Well, I’m not sure I bought a T-shirt They said it would help
“Choose Kindness” Shooters enter a school " children die I made a difference Spread kindness, they said Maybe if we were more kind, He would have never entered that day
I made a difference, I said What kind? The kind that’s posted on social media Word of mouth is powerful But where does the money go? Who does it help? Well, I’m not sure
“End It Movement” Slavery is real. Modern day. I put a red X on my hand, over my mouth I hashtag a filtered photo I’m helping, I made a difference But, they asked, to who?
“Black Lives Matter” “All Lives Matter” “Women’s Rights” “Equal Rights” “Feminism” “Hands Up”
I made a difference I didn’t engage in political rallies I didn’t engage in political poles I didn’t engage in conversations on Facebook I didn’t engage in conversations with my friends I didn’t engage in… anything
