How did it happen?
When did it start?
This passion I feel
within my heart.
 
Was it as simple
as a casual hello
or gentle additions
to this gift aglow?
 
First a simple story
then a secret shared
will your eyes behold
desire and passion paired?
 
Now I want to know you
more than a story lends.
I want to touch and kiss you
but fear it would all end.
 
So I am but a key stroke
typing letters, making words.
Until the day my lips would dare
to make their way to yours.

This is a really good one. The message is sad but leaves me convinced of the conviction. I like how although there isn't the preferred resolution, there is open ended hope and sometimes that's all there is to hold on to.
