wacky witch winowna

A Poem by marilyn 1225

halloween of course

she came at night
on Halloween,
her  eyes were red, her face was mean
her hair shown silver , her ears stood out
she yelled and shouted  grrrrr , ugggh
all  about
and then she did her due
and vanished without a clue

who was she in another life?
her ashes left one halloween night
was she kind in disguise
of a wicked soul
of hate?
or was she just an imaginary shadow on the gate--

did someone mourn her demise
or cast her spirit
in the dirt
spitting wrath of spitum bold
upon the gate
where kisses died
 and a lonely soul
in agony  , pitifully cried

love left
love cast aside
and in its place
a witch's spirit
does now  reside                        marilyn nepp  oct 28, 2017
