just another day

Happy Valentine's Day

we write  , we say, we love

and say  it again each year

to whomever  is important to us

some never celebrate the day

it is dreaded  at times

the widow, the divorcee,

the teen who is not cool enough

the wondering

mall walker

they do without

the red hearts, the chocolates in a heart

instead their huge heart just breaks

or becomes  insulated

on  Happy Valentine's Day

i think we should show that affection and love every day...Valentines Day has too much pressure...instead of one day put aside for all this special attention, it would be better to spread it out all year.

in my relationships, seldom was Valentines day a good day.
