an answer so you will know

it is not to write a poem this early morning

but to explain

you meant so much to me over the years

i would never ever hurt you  

all i

wanted ultimately was your friendship

you had so much   a great mind

and a heart that was passionate

never would i cast it astray

years went by 

you gave me up  as a friend

as it should be

i could offer you nothing

and was alone i

you had a free will

in your travels you experienced life

with people you experienced life

and much more i had no reason

to know

you experienced life

i would never hurt you

i was quiet

alone for decades    ill  many times.

and despite what you think or were told

never would  i hurt you

it is sad that you think me a terrible person

you have been free since you have been born

to think and roam and love

whomever    do whatever

and i have lived 

far far away
