Missing My Youth

Missing My Youth

A Poem by Mitch
"

a little reminiscing. if only I knew how good I had it

"

I don't want what I wanted before

If possible I'd give it all back

Now that I'm standing where it was I was going

My troubles keep adding to stack

I want to go back to be far more foolish

When my worst care above all was my day

when I horribly navigated my way through my class

Then went home and did nothing but play

My last attempts to recapture the time of my youth

Become fewer and far in between

All that is left is me standing right here

Watching the reel of my memory screen
