#Friends

Thought of writing something for them as well.

We don’t talk every day.

Aber we know at the back of our mind,

That we are there for each other.

They love you for the way you are.

They are not demanding & are ever accepting.

 

One of the hilarious lines that they say is

“I told you not to go for it, it would turn obnoxious & it did. Do you see that?”

And Alas! Comes this one “You know what, everything is gonna be alright”.

That is so obvious but soothing too.

 

It isn’t that there won’t be any conflicts.

Aber a smile from a distance is enough to fix things.

 

Love & happiness comes in small packages.

A cup of coffee with them, a meet after a long time, a hug or

a late night call speaking to your heart’s content is your small package.

 

There are no expectations to be met.

There are no complaints to be addressed.

You can breathe free & feel liberated.

You are yourself when with them.

This ship never wrecks & you don't have to so called "Work on it".

It just comes effortlessly & naturally to you.

 

It doesn’t start with chocolates & flowers & end on your cell phone’s screen.

And most importantly there is no fear of extra-friendly affair.

It doesn’t know a break up or a rebounding.

It is there to stay even though you don't talk everyday.

 

We all have done mistakes & we all have secrets.

Aber they are safely guarded by them.

Cheers to our friends & may long live our #friends.

PS: Aber is a German translation for the English word - But
