Possibly/Someday

Possibly/Someday

A Poem by Benjamin Seymour

Something ought to be written in this space

Of that I’m fairly unsure

Impulsive indecisiveness tells me that

With all and nothing to take from this

My fingertips slip past missed opportunities

My idiocy knows few bounds

That is for certain, I think

Lack of conclusion is just about

The solitary summation I can draw

Possibly someday is not what I want

It is only my deepest wish

Well I wrote a pretty long paragraph about how and why I like this piece which was destroyed because the page couldn't be displayed. I sigh and say good poem. Happy easter!

This was originally a space containing nothing.

These are the lines that stay with me, that make me pause, for some reason. Maybe it's the last like, the missed opportunities bit, since that's ever so present in my mind. I like that this poem is differnet from others i've read...like the person below me said, abstract. Oh, and the last lines, leave me thinking....
Good job = )

I love your style. It's a little abstract, interesting, but still meaningful.
