You Are Stuck In My Mind

You Are Stuck In My Mind

A Poem by Matthew Ryan Hardy
"

To a girl I've only seen walking by me almost everyday LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

"

You are in my mind,

Every second of the day,

The thought’s of being with you,

Make my heart skip a beat,

Whenever I see you pass me by,

I think of how unworthy I am,

To stand by your side,

When I see you hanging with someone I know,

I just want to go up to them,

To see what you know,

The question I ask myself,

Every day and night,

Is if you even know my name,

You will always be stuck in my brain

I believe that when you see someone, you can be drawn to them and feel like you want to get to know them, but that could be on any level, from friends to lovers. I don't know about "love" at first sight. I think you have to know someone to really love them. This was a good, very honest poem. You really capture the feeling well.

One grammatical error I noticed--in the third line, "thought's" should be "thoughts."

Its interesting I understand where you're coming from that feeling when that person is all you think about and all you want to be around. Maybe try rephrasing some of the sentences so that the poem flows a bit better but all in all good poem :)

I liked this and I do believe in love at first sight my grandparents had it ... my papaw was on leave from the navy and went to see his cousin at her work at a the honey factory in Cincinnati ohio and my mamaw was her best friend and when he saw her he just walked up to her grabbed her by her waist laid her back in his arms and kissed he later that night they went on their first date and were married the next day I know it sounds unbelievable but its true no exaggeration they were married for 55 years had 10 kids

I believe in longing at first sight and a hope of things to come. True love only comes after weathering trials together. This poem expresses your longing clearly. One wants to tell the writer "Go get that girl!'

Love grows over time. When your feelings turn to words, it can be the most wonderful experience in the world

Maybe not love at first sight. But some people have energy and inner beauty and hope that make us want to know them. Sometime we must take a chance and see what they like. Maybe paths can cross with a common interest. I like the desire of this poem. One day you will wished to have been more braver. Never know what can happen in a life. A excellent poem.
