The cage

The cage

A Poem by Matthew Palmer-Jones
"

The cage

"
Anger,lust,rage I am in a cage!
Teeth grinding, claws prying at the binding.
A bloody war I shall wage against this cage!
Set about me my wrath to engage!
The cage is worped, the bars have been bended!
My hands are broken, but will be mended!
I yell!
I scream!
I WILL NOT ADMIT IT!
I am ashamed of my defeat!
This is not the end of it!
It has just begun!
I will chase you, make you run!
Slowly and sureley your mind and body are coming undone!
Your mind now worped, time is running out!
Day by day your strength weakens,my will strengthens!
Your breath weakens,
death beckons you....
