Falacy of Life

1. The promises of youth did not show me life
2. A world without struggle nor strife
3. As the world took me in
4. The worst just started to begin
5. A world of hate and greed
6. Instilled within me what I need
7. I found no love and no affection
8. And as I stare in my reflection
9. Someone else is in my place
10. Through my mind I trace
11. All the choices I have made
12. That took me where I have stayed
13. I feel betrayed, I feel alone
14. I knock on the door and no one is home
15. All I know is that I'm by myself
16. Looking to find my place on the shelf.
17. No more happiness no more love
18. The world saw me, as disposable as a dove.
