A New Day

I don't know what led me to this ~ haven't posted for a long time. ... :) x

Shadows move in silent footsteps 

Giving life to inanimate objects 

Its purpose too corruptive 

The small marigold croons 

but the clouds hide the moon 

From our perspective 

The stormy seas rise 

Reaching for the skies

Filling the world with flood

Magma rises higher

Mountains spit fire

Painting the world with blood

Suddenly all that had transpired

All the pain it had required

It had ended

Peace took over

Reclaiming our composure

A harmonious world once again

The iridescent horizon 

Shining like a diamond 

Shown for the world to see 

The ray of sunshine  

Stands sublime 

Forcing darkness to flee
