The People Wore Colors.

The People Wore Colors.

A Poem by Maxwell M.
"

vivid colors can paint a song.

"

the people walked on.

started in their early years.

some were mistaken,

others wrought with cheers.

that line marked in carmine.

not shelter from malachite.

the people wore colors,

shaded in pale blue light.

they travelled for space in the wake of distress,

uncertain they climb.

burgandy faces shrouded in the apathy towards the end that they make,

live for the sound of the peace of mind they just don't know.

take to the emptiness.

fought from lack of healthy disease.

the people wore colors,

they hid from verdigris.

shaken they walk from displacement in the sound of sleep.

they awake to find that their once pale blue sky, has turned to alzarin.

they'll breathe in the air, swim in green seas, can i.

they'll borrow the land, to shelter and feed, can i.

they left at what they thought was dawn that day.

some stayed behind.

the ones that left looked onward to what they hoped would bring them, to peaceful ease.

those that stayed bathed in the waters that resembled copper resinate.

they'll breathe in the air, swim in green seas, can i.

they'll borrow the land, to shelter and feed, can i.

they started in early years.

left behind belongings with ease.

the people wore colors,

completely in kreide.

they'll breathe in the air, swim in green seas, can i.

they'll borrow the land, to shelter and feed, can i.
