Goodmorning to you

Goodmorning to you

A Poem by Michael

I felt you cut free
Turning cold shoulders to me
Nothing more to trust, fallacies of love
Killing all that holds you back
Ripping out compassion
False sense of actions
As I began to weaken you
I was beating you
The more I drank the less I think
My actions were casual
I cant show my true embrace
Casting out visions of mine
Blinded in ways I never realized
To do this right
Everyone needs healing
Taking time is a must
Distance is safer than trust
Through patience I'm viewing from outside
You build your walls for me to climb
A million walls you built this time
Space, Allows our emotions to age into faith
You move on, Waking up
Distance away
We'll all fall prey
To innocence we have lost
Sin sings a moan
For you're not a lone
Shedding skin no longer wearing thin
These wounds will mend
Callused over
This heart is supposed to bleed
Waking up, its time for you to see
Waking up, can you hear me
Waking up,
Good morning to you my love
