contemporary sinner's confession

contemporary sinner's confession

A Poem by Mem

And these children that you spit on as they try to change their worlds; are immune to your consultations, they're quite aware of what they're going through. - Bowie
cure my leprosy with acne liquid
that bush is burning, done with my mint cig
vaccines made new stigmata, by a short needle tip
AIDS as a plague of Egypt
hey, throw at me your brick
so why don't you truly love me
why do you still renounce me
why do you stubbornly alienate me
I'm made as the one you want me to be
I'm just a young man of 21st century
I replace water with liquor day by day
walk on the sea, few steps, can't get away
working three jobs, cross over my limits
committing adultery,
change my mind every five minutes
so why don't you truly love me
why do you still renounce me
why do you close your door in front of me
believing in me, pretending to be sin-free
I'm just a young man of 21st century

I really like this one and I think judging should be the sin of all sins, we should learn that one's relationship with God is his and what he does with his life is up to him. The world should mind it's own business!
