Breathing in my neck

Breathing in my neck

A Poem by Adri Moolman
"

I was having trouble sleeping on my uncles farm when I was 13 and I wrote this as soon as I got home

"

There's a cool wind creeping down my spine

and I'm alone.

The wooden floor beneath my feet creak.

and it's dark.

It feels like someones watching me.

Like someone breathing in my neck.

I hear shutters slam close...

Probably the wind.

The old house seems almost, just almost alive!

My heart is pounding.

and the feeling grows.

Something is keeping me from moving.

Holding me.

Cold.

I want to run...

But I can't.

I want to scream...

But I can't.

The tears silencly roll down my cheeks.

Something is holding me..

Breathing in my neck

Very Good this is right up my ally I love Horror and my stories are mostly based on horror I can almost feel you're fear in this poem 13 years old a creepy old house I will never base my reviews on Punctuation or spelling because that is my Kryptonite so based of fear and Theme I realy like this poem.

Thanks sooo much :)
I like it. It has a very eerie tone about it. The fear of someone watching the character is evident, and their inability to do anything about is riveting. Very nicely done.
