Wisdom

Wisdom

A Poem by melanie j bean

Wisdom

How far must we fall

before we can see each day as a blessing?

How high must we rise

to feel the son return again?

We look and realize we are not broken,

knowing we have wandered away

from a love so strongly spoken.

Why have we been forgiven?

Perhaps it is the long journey we make

that we see not with our eyes,

but understand with our hearts

the Wisdom within the gift of eternal life.

Wise and wonderful. I enjoyed this read.

Its short and nice. To explain such words of wisdon in such a simple and short way is an art you are good at. I am, however, a bit curious about the spelling of 'son'. I wonder if it was, as the first reviewer predicted, an intentional act?
All the best,

this is powerful, very nice job :) and i'm almost positive that the spelling of "son" was a purposeful "mistake" and is very nice.
good job
