Dance in the moon

Dance in the moon

A Poem by Saki Kikkio

Faded paint
Blended into the wall
Unknown to the passing faces
Full of life and joy

Speak to a friend
A basic stranger
Make a joke
Background noise

Walk down the halls
Head down
A ghost
Only alive

Until night falls
Then the ghost fades
In her place
A new chase

One of a predator
and her prey
No longer hidden
A dark queen

Blood and death
Dancing in the moon
Only for the sun
Once more to blaze

Once more a ghost
In a world full of suns
