Whisps of all such silly things

Whisps of all such silly things

A Poem by linear
"

see what you see

"

Can you stop, please

Listen

Hear the wind blow

driving the rain in icy cascades

See the trees give way

watch them bend

breaking bows yet never their vows

they scream don't they?

Can you touch it?

hold it close to your beating breast

arrows pierce skin

but not as easily

You think you own it

even try to control it

yet its loose and wild

free

at least more than me

What use these tears that cannot be seen

emotions blown

like confetti after a forsaken bride

let it alone

it can have no home

Tangled tumbleweed

distributes no seed

yeah, what Wondering mind said, why be a tumbleweed when you can be majestic like a mountain! :)

I just sing to myself "Let It Be", it's a comfort in these situations.
Very nicely penned.
