Hope Written in the Skies

The moon is quietly full

Spreading shadows like black silk

Throughout the silent night

I leave sobbing, gasping for breath

A walk, I tell myself

A walk to clear my head

A moment of peace

From the chaos

That is my life.

I drift, lonely and unafraid 

The street seems to glow

With ethereal light

Showing me the way forward

As I stop and look up at the bright sky

Searching for an answer

I see, illuminated by the moon

Hope

Written in the Skies.
