RainA Poem by michael.c.mreflections on a rain dayRain
There is this certain sense of sanity that falls with rain. An empty quietude remains, undefined, uncoloured solitude drifting in and out as patterns shift and sway, almost comically. Distance undefined beneath ample gray and everything leans beneath the burden of replenished green. Words fall and are lost in shattered puddles that define in silver and stone, shifting dances under foot and drop. Each paragraph tapped out on rooftops, in-deciphered words from a weeping gray teletype. To know the rain, to delve into the song, to have passion nourished, to have the rain become your tears, is to really know. © 2012 michael.c.mReviews
