Coffee Shops no.2

Coffee Shops no.2

A Poem by Michael Oliver

Absorbed in his island - hand held

A round table - a solo quest

The daily news of silent signals

There be dragons beyond the coffee

The window clears - to humdrum life

The fleshed profile - the bald outline

Sweat shirt blue stripes - the enfolding

Absorption in spells of the presence.

I noticed the end words of sntences produce to little messages of thier own. Time to unwind and let our minds find refreshing and to think about what is going on in life- what makes sense. Kathy

sometimes just sitting in the cafe, sipping...safest place to be...there is a cruel world out there...
or sometimes just a really boring one...and that cup of coffee and looking out the window..might be the thrill of the day.
