I Love Life.....

The inspiration behind this poem was Rohit, a five year old boy who is HIV Positive, naughty, sprightly and full of creativity.

I love to run and climb a tree,

I love to sit and listen to stories,

I love to float boats in rainwater,

I love to have a pillow fight,

I love to paint a red setting sun,

I love to sing when I cycle around,

I love to feel the moist dew drops,

I love to sleep in Dad's warm arms,

I love to eat an orange icecream,

I love to sit in Mom's lap and eat,

I do not have Mom and Dad around,

They say my Dad gave it to my Mom,

They say it was a moment's weakness,

I do not understand what death is,

They say I suffer from HIV AIDS.
