granddad died on January 2 ND 2011 of cancer

he is the one 

that i love best 

my granddad that saw the best 

he died an unruly death 

the thing we hate best 

the struggling family's in the west 

for cancers sake we do detest 

are loving hope 

will never stress 

for you my grandfather 

please have your rest

Is is a good poem! I'm sorry for your loss though, from what you say in your poem he meant a lot to you and it is hard to lose someone that you care a lot for, but I'm sure if he was here he would love this poem!

It's always very hard when you lose someone to any sort of disease, cancer especially, because you have to watch them die. You can rest assured, though, that he isn't suffering anymore. And I'm sure he loves this poem very much. :) Good job.
