Family at Heart

got inspired with the new friends I made at work, lived together for a short period of time but made a "family" in them :)

Met as strangers; reunited in a crib by fate

Our life is a sketchbook that we always update

Started as friends, ended up as family

Like a flower, each one is lovely

Everyday is a memory we always treasure

Expect to see us all smiling that's for sure

Standing strong during our ups and downs

Each one is crazy and one doesn't have to frown

Life is bitchy at times and we have to sigh

But everything doesn't need to end up in goodbye

Have our own decisions and destiny will decide

Just go with the rythm and simply enjoy the ride

Fate kept us intact and in time would keep us apart

Countless memories we'll cherish deep in our hearts

Let goodbye be a bridge to another hello

Aiming for a happy heart to finally let go

I think that family found in friends is sometimes the best family you could ask for. I like the intentions that you had with this poem. I feel that the rhymes effect the flow a bit and don't seem natural. But I still think its cute
