One day you’ll look at yourself in the mirror,

and see the real you.

 

One day you’ll put an end to all of this,

because you’ll finally see the truth.

 

One day you’ll hold my hand,

instead of playing with my heart.

 

One day you’ll try to fix things,

because you’ll see that they’ve fallen apart.

 

One day you’ll look into my eyes,

telling me that you’re willing to try.

 

One day you’ll tell me that you love me,

as you apologize for all your lies.

 

One day you’ll want me,

as much as I wanted you.

 

One day you’ll miss me,

and feel the pain you put me through.

 

One day you’ll need me,

but I will be gone.

And when that day comes,

I will thank you for making me strong.
