I Know, I Know!

"Going from soldier to mother!"

"I know, I know!"

She smiles and waves,

As she enters the bus

To her new life.

 

"I know, I know!"

She exclaimed with a smile

As she put on the uniform

She chose for a while.

 

"I know, I know!"

Leaves her lips once again

As she clutches her weapon

While the training begins.

 

"I know, I know!"

The training now over

She has come this far

To live life as a soldier.

 

"I know, I know!"

She writes to her mom

Several letters go forth

But from the desert no calm.

 

"I know, I know!"

Finally the end

Coming home in once piece

But a new journey begins...
